We are looking for an enthusiastic, supportive, and creative individual to join our Student Project Coordinator team at the School of Arts, UWE City Campus. 

This is a part-time, fixed-term post until July 2025, working 28 hours per week over a period of 40 weeks (term-time working). 

You will engage with a wide range of students during the initial stages of their creative journey, offering helpful advice and information relating to their creative aims and ideas. You will make use of an online booking system to schedule in access and support sessions for individual students to work alongside an appropriate technical instructor. 

You will interact with students and staff in person, through email and web-based systems (including MS Outlook, MS Teams) and over the phone. Clear, confident communication, and the ability to process a wide range of information to meet student needs are essential to the role.

Working hours: 9am-5pm, 4 days a week (total paid hours: 28hrs per week). In house training will be provided.             

About you

We are looking for enthusiastic and approachable, solution-focused individuals, who thrive on daily interactions with a varied, creative client-base (including students, academic staff and technical teams).

You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and have experience of working effectively within a small team. You will have practical administrative experience and be a competent user of the MS Office Suite (including MS Outlook, MS Teams and Excel). 

You will have a knowledge of the broad range of creative techniques and practises available to students at UWE and a pro-active approach to problem-solving.

This post is based at our City Campus in Bristol city centre which comprises of Bower Ashton Studios, Arnolfini, Spike Island and Watershed and is home to UWE Bristol's creative and cultural subjects.
