About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Leicester in the newly created role of Head of Conduct, Complaints and Resolution. The role offers an opportunity to continue developing and implementing University policy and procedure in relation to: student complaints, student non-academic and academic misconduct, at all times ensuring that students are provided with appropriate information, advice, guidance and support. You will provide professional leadership and manage the complaints and conduct team which handles student complaints and cases of student misconduct, ensuring that they are handled effectively and sensitively within defined timeframes.
About you
With significant experience of undertaking or leading investigations and managing policies, procedures and complex and sensitive complaints, you should also have experience of managing teams, be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure and operate strategically. An understanding of the HE context and challenges facing universities in this area of work is also essential.
