ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a Permanent role working 14 hours per week.

The School is currently pursuing an exciting and innovative strategy of expanding its multi professional programme provision.  As part of this the School has a well-established and successfully validated undergraduate MOst programme, which continues to attract increasing numbers of students. This programme, the only one of its kind in Wales provides a platform for innovative Osteopathic teaching and research, and we are now looking to add to our dynamic osteopathic team by the appointment of a suitably qualified candidate with academic potential and interest in Osteopathy to develop their career.

This post requires a contribution to teaching and student assessment and supervision in the clinical setting at undergraduate level, but also across the School where required, in addition to sharing organisational and academic administrative responsibilities

The post requires high quality delivery of teaching and student learning and a commitment to enhancing the overall student experience.

You must be registered with the General Osteopathy Council (GOsC) as a practising osteopath and have considerable experience in post graduate osteopathic clinical practice.

WELSH LANGUAGE SKILLS

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
