Salary: Grade 7: £ 36,024 to £ 44,263p.a. (with discretionary range to £ 48,350). A less experienced candidate may be appointed at Grade 6 (£32,332- £38,205 per annum), with a commensurate adjustment in either the essential criteria, responsibilities or duties
The Role
An opportunity within the Environmental Change Institute as part of Oxford Net Zero: world-leading research enabling effective climate action to halt global warming.
The successful candidate will work with will work closely with Dr. Tom Kettlety, Dr. Emily Cox and Professor Myles Allen, across the School of Geography and the Environment as well as the Department of Earth Sciences.
Taking responsibility over key tasks regarding the business model and policy framework analysis supporting GBF market growth, including, for example:
To be considered for the role you will be required to either hold, or be close to completion of a PhD/DPhil in a relevant subject or equivalent research experience. Relevant disciplines include psychology, energy studies, geography, sociology, economics, health studies. Familiarity with either household energy use literature or other relevant bodies of knowledge which will assist in undertaking this role. Strong communication skills, including the ability to write for publications, present research proposals and results.
