We are seeking an experienced professional who is passionate about working with employers and alumni to enhance student employability. In this senior role in the Careers Centre, you will have full responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the Opportunities Team and make a major contribution to the leadership and management of the Centre.
You will also have an operational role working with employers and alumni, engaging with our existing employer networks, and generating new partnership opportunities, as well as working with other Schools and Units within the university to ensure a joined-up approach to employer/alumni engagement. The successful candidate will also be actively seeking income generating opportunities, in line with the ‘Entrepreneurial St Andrews’ strand of the new university strategy.
Educated to degree level, you will have substantial experience of working in a higher education, commercial, or recruitment role, an active interest in the global context for our work, as well as leadership experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to high quality service delivery.
