This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you a well organised and adaptable individual, committed to delivering an excellent student experience? Do you want to help students to succeed after graduation by providing high quality employability and placement support?
This role will lead, manage and deliver employability opportunities for students, enabling them to succeed both as a student and once they have graduated. The role will provide effective managerial and administrative support for a range of employability interventions such as employer engagement, business development, placements, internships, events and workshops. You will be required to establish contacts with a range of placement providers and will need a proactive approach to develop new opportunities and build partnerships to deliver increased student opportunities. As we develop our service provision, it is expected the scope of the role my change and grow, so you will need to be flexible. This role will initially be supporting the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, however over the course of your role this may change according to business and personal development needs.
You will work collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues across Schools, Faculties, Student Opportunity, the Advancement Team and LUU, sharing information, making connections and improving the service we deliver. At all times, you will be sensitive and supportive in relation to the student experience and ensure that student voice and inclusive practice is at the centre of all we do
