The role
The UK Reproducibility Network (UKRN - www.ukrn.org) is a national collaboration whose vision is for the UK research system to be outstanding in conducting and promoting rigorous and transparent research. Associated with the UKRN is a set of metaresearch (research on research, or science studies) projects based at the Schools of Psychological Science and Education at the University of Bristol. The principal one of these is COMET (a collaboration also with the University of Sussex), which is investigating how universities use research evidence to inform their decisions affecting research culture.
This role is the main support and engagement lead for the COMET and related metaresearch projects. It involves supporting a research team of five, plus the principal investigators and a senior project manager. It also involves enabling good stakeholder communication and relationship management through the organisation of meetings, events, workshops, and the use of online tools and social media.
