About the Role

  • Centralising and coordinating service level delivery, driving commercial performance of events and venues at Hartpury.
  • Working collaboratively with staff across departments to manage events, ensuring a great experience for internal/external clients. 
  • Collating of incoming enquiries, actively supporting development of event planning process & working alongside the stakeholders and client.
  • Working in a proactive and reactive manner to meet annual sales targets.
  • Developing customer service standards to ensure smooth running of operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Involvement in relevant training, project work, research, and other development opportunities        

About You

  • You will be a self-starter, highly organized, commercially savvy, able to work independently.
  • Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, interact tactfully and sensitively with diverse individuals are essential.
  • Experience in a similar role or be able to evidence a strong understanding of commercial events.
  • Experienced in driving new business with demonstrable commercial acumen.
  • Ability to drive change and work independently ensuring alignment to organizational policies.
  • Confident working with colleagues, suppliers, other stakeholders to develop and maintain appropriate strategies, documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Confident representing and promoting the business development team at internal and external meetings, events, and conferences.
