About the role:

Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin invites applications for the Professor of Personalised Therapeutics. This post has been established through the support of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and the School of Medicine, specifically to support innovation in the translation and application of personalised therapies to include precision medicines and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMP) generation. The focus of this appointment will be on cell-, immune- and targeted precision-therapeutics, as well as related fundamental and applied aspects of personalised medicine.

The post-holder will have an excellent record in research and development, including high quality publications or similar outputs and significant grant funding, and in teaching, including the delivery of clinical training, undergraduate teaching and postgraduate supervision. They will have a proven ability for effective and inspirational leadership, mentorship and management, possess excellent communications skills and be willing to act as a senior leader and take up leadership roles, within the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the School of Medicine, The Trinity-St James’s Cancer Institute, the wider academic health science network and to contribute to Trinity affiliated research institutes.

The Professor of Personalised Therapeutics will join both the School of Medicine and the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The holder of the post will provide leadership in clinical and translational research and teaching in immune, cell, precision and personalised therapeutics.
