As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Your responsibilities will include driving student progress through innovative teaching methods, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning, and prioritising the safety and well-being of our students. You'll deliver an engaging curriculum tailored to student needs, fostering open communication with Heads of Department and Parents alike, championing a collaborative and student-centred learning environment.
Successful candidates will need a thorough understanding of behaviour management, neurodevelopmental conditions like Autism and ADHD, trauma-informed practices, and teenage brain development.Additionally, knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), safeguarding practices, and a minimum of Maths and English Level 2.A recognised Teaching Qualification would be advantageous; however, we can provide support to candidates whilst in our employment to gain this qualification.

The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.
