Applications are welcomed for an Engagement Manager to join the Oxford Climate Journalism Network (OCJN) at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism (RISJ). This is an exciting opportunity to develop intellectually engaging programmes that will help journalists around the world tackle the challenge of reporting effectively and accurately on climate change.

The Engagement Manager will focus on supporting the OCJN alumni community, developing new programmes and opportunities dedicated to improving the quality and impact of climate journalism across the world. The successful candidate will work with the Editorial Team at RISJ to plan and deliver high quality public-facing events and materials on climate journalism. For this, they will have the support of the OCJN team.
 
The Engagement Manager will also support the delivery of the OCJN online flagship course and assist in other OCJN programmes including leadership courses, the Annual Event, work with Fellows an outreach efforts.
 
You will be educated to degree level and have experience working in climate journalism in an international context. You will also have excellent data visualisation and presentation skills to communicate with varied audiences. It is essential that you have a high level of knowledge and understanding of the UK and international media and have an existing network of global journalists and editors.
 
The position is fixed-term until 31st December 2025 and is offered on a 0.5 FTE part time basis, starting as soon as possible.
