The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Research Assistant (33 hours per week) to assist with research-related tasks, including;

  • preparing, setting up, conducting and recording the outcome of experiments and field work,
  • the development of standard questionnaires,
  • conducting surveys, and
  • working to the standards and objectives of the research project set by the Principal Investigator (PI).

The Research Assistant will also assist with some administrative tasks such as the organisation of meetings and events and monitoring the centre mailbox.

The successful candidate will hold a degree or equivalent research experience. You will be required to work collaboratively as part of the team with good communication skills as well as attention to detail. The ability to develop further skills in and knowledge of research methods and techniques is a prerequisite.
