The role

We are seeking a talented Human Resources professional to join our credible and established team who will lead the HR support to the University in growing its Transnational Education (TNE) activity overseas. In addition to this, the role will also lead the HR support on some University wide projects.

Key responsibilities 

  • The provision of specialist international advice
  • Play a role in the development of a staff Global Mobility policy and any associated TNE specific HR procedures or guidance.
  • Work with HR and other colleagues to ensure that processes around the employment of non-UK staff are integrated aligned with the UK.
  • To play a lead role in fostering an inclusive environment.
  • To lead the HR contribution towards the some University wide projects

What we’re looking for 

  • Experienced HR professional, with a focus on international HR management.
  • Demonstrated experience in partnering with senior leadership and managing cross-cultural teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches
  • Able to undertake periodic international travel including long haul flights
  • It would also be advantageous to have an understanding of, international compensation and benefits, tax, social security and immigration practices and cultural integration
