Since 1990, Cambridge Judge has forged a reputation as a centre of rigorous thinking and high-impact transformative education, situated within one of the world's most prestigious research universities, and in the heart of the Cambridge Cluster, the most successful technology entrepreneurship cluster in Europe.
The Alumni & External Engagement (A&EE) team is the primary external-facing department at Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS). This department handles alumni relations, communications and data, events, fundraising and development, and stewardship. A&EE acts as the main liaison with key external stakeholders, who provide essential support, funding, opportunities and insights that drive the success of CJBS. Their engagement and contributions are vital to the school's mission and ongoing achievements, and their profiles and networks significantly contribute to our development and growth.
The Corporate and Individual Stewardship Co-ordinator role will be responsible for working with colleagues within the Business School to enhance engagement with our important stakeholders including our honorary appointments and Friends of CJBS, helping to develop networks and relationships which facilitate external engagement and connection to CJBS.
The role will be responsible for supporting leadership with the stewardship of philanthropic gifts made to the Business School, working collaboratively with CJBS academics and professional staff and with the University of Cambridge Development and Alumni Relations office (CUDAR) to create engaging and impactful donor reports, as well as developing and leading key cross-functional stewardship projects and events.
The role will also support the Business School in documenting corporate partnerships and supporting efforts for small-scale corporate sponsorship and building a portfolio of sponsorship proposals.
You will have experience of organising events and meetings involving high-profile stakeholders. You will be able to take independent action, preferably gained in an academic or business environment. You will be highly literate and have excellent attention to detail. Excellent researching ability and compositional skills are prerequisite for this role. A broad understanding of University procedures is an advantage.
