The Rosalind Franklin Institute is a national research centre, funded by the UK government through UK Research and Innovation, dedicated to bringing transformative changes in life science through interdisciplinary research and technology.
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Rosalind Franklin Institute in a full-time capacity. You will join a team of support scientists to help maintain an excellent level of service across the Structural Biology laboratories of the Institute. Responsibilities will include fundamental aspects of laboratory support (ordering, waste management, media preparation etc.) as well as more specialist technical tasks (instrument maintenance, cell and tissue culture, chemical inventory, health, and safety documents reviews etc.) Appropriate training will be provided where relevant. Your work will help the institute deliver on its goal of world leading research in the physical and biological sciences.
