We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a focus on regulating our apprenticeship provision.

Role Overview

As a Quality Assurance Manager at LIBF, you will champion and support regulatory compliance and best practices in delivering our Apprenticeships and Higher Education. This role involves managing the regulatory compliance for LIBF’s degree-level apprenticeship provision, maintaining the HE academic governance structure, and overseeing the student complaints processes for all LIBF academic provisions. You will work closely with the Quality, Policy and Regulation team on various quality assurance and enhancement projects, ensuring our educational provisions uphold the highest standards.

*  This role can be based primarily at home on a hybrid basis with either our Canterbury office or London office. Attendance to the Canterbury office will be required when needed onsite for meetings and training when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee governance of LIBF.
  • Manage academic frameworks and policies for apprenticeships and HE.
  • Support committees such as Assessment Boards.
  • Lead quality assurance projects.
  • Act as key contact for Ofsted/ESFA reviews.
  • Update policies to remain compliant.
  • Monitor regulatory developments.
  • Handle and support student dissatisfaction, complaints and appeals.
  • Ensure compliance with OIA reporting requirements.

Skills and Qualification:

Essential:

  • Degree-level or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory expectations (OfS/QAA/ESFA/Ofsted).
  • Experience in HE quality assurance.
  • Strong communication and committee experience.
  • Excellent planning, detail-oriented, and integrity.
