Contract type: 24-month fixed term contract.

Are you interested in developing your career in health and care policy, and research and quantitative analysis? This is an opportunity to join a small team in The King’s Fund that provides independent analysis of the key issues in health and social care policy.

You will support colleagues with the analytical aspects of research projects and learn how to create a range of outputs and present research findings in an accessible way for a range of different audiences. This is a developmental role that will provide the appropriate training, learning and support needed to be a quantitative analyst in the health and care sector.

You will have an interest in health policy and health services research and an understanding of quantitative analysis. You will also be confident in manipulating datasets and willing to learn different analytical software. You will be capable of communicating in a clear and accessible style through a range of written, verbal and visual outputs, and willing to learn how to communicate your research findings to a broad audience.

The Fund is committed to a hybrid working model that meets the organisation’s needs, while giving staff flexibility to choose between office and home working. Most staff are expected to work a minimum of 40% from our central London office and are free to work more days from the office if they prefer. We are in the process of developing our long-term policy on this, although the expected minimum time in the office will remain 40% (pro rata).
