The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Governance Manger to join the Governance & Legal Office. Led by the University Secretary, the team operates at the very heart of the University, supporting effective strategic decision-making and oversight, and providing an outstanding governance service in support of the University’s academic mission.
This role is ideal for someone who has an appreciation for the role of governance in supporting effective organisational performance. They should have exceptional attention to detail and be capable of thinking creatively and pragmatically in solving complex problems. They will be comfortable working to deadlines and engaging with members of the University’s senior leadership team and external governors.
This is a fixed term role for 1 year. We are ideally looking for candidates who are ready to start the role in September 2024. We would welcome applications from internal and external candidates.

The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills. They will be comfortable working under time pressure and capable of working autonomously without significant direction.
