Providing an international experience for all our students is central to The University of Manchester’s Global Influence strategy.
The Placements and International Programmes Office (PIP) is responsible for the governance, business processes, promotion and management for all off-campus study and work (both UK and International) including student exchanges/study abroad, work placements and fieldwork. PIP works closely with partners across the globe and also admits, welcomes and supports all our incoming study abroad/exchange students. This is an exciting time to join PIP as we seek to expand outward mobility, maximising opportunities from new internal investment as well as the Turing Scheme to contribute to the creation of a generation of global change makers.
The Placements and International Programmes Officer will join a well-established and expanding team. The role includes leadership and line management responsibility for the Outbound Team, together with responsibility for a portfolio of partners (including contract negotiation and supporting partnership development), co-ordination of a range of business processes associated with international placements and emergency response management.
Be part of the great adventure as we enable students to see the world differently and think globally.
Significant prior experience of working in the field of international mobility is required.
