The Finance Manager is responsible for delivering all budgeting and financial accounting functions within our busy fundraising and alumni engagement department, ensuring the effective management of our operational budget of c£13m per year, overseeing all procurement, and providing expert advice and guidance on all finance matters. They lead and manage a Finance team of 3, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, strategic service.
We are seeking a proactive self-starter who can deliver results in a fast-moving, changing environment, with a proven track record in financial management and expert technical and professional accountancy skills. They should be used to operating at a strategic level, have great communication and relationship-building skills, and have a proactive, adaptable mindset.
