For the last 20 years the University of Nottingham has been a leading participant in the scheme with one of the largest and most consistent portfolios of projects with businesses of all sizes and with academics from across the institution. 

The purpose of this role is to lead the team in the development of new proposals, the management of existing partnerships and oversee the effective delivery of post award administration and financial tasks to the projects. 

For commercial enquires you will take a hands on approach to inward enquiries and working with colleagues across the institution, identify academic colleagues with relevant expertise. Likewise with academic colleagues you will provide expertise and advice on the scheme and help them to find and work with suitable external partners.

The successful candidate will be expected to use their excellent interpersonal skills and experience to manage these differing relationships and enable successful partnership working. These skills and experience need not necessarily be gained as a direct result of having worked in an academic environment but in previous roles where excellent communication and people skills are vital.

This post is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
