The Executive Business Centre, within Greenwich Business School at the University of Greenwich is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Executive Education.
The Executive Business Centre is Greenwich Business School’s centre for developing and delivering impactful industry engagement through executive education. Working with industry to develop and deliver high quality educational programmes to those in work and looking to accelerate their career.
Our team are excited by industry engagement, whether through programme design and delivery, research or knowledge exchange activities. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join this team of industry facing professionals. The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate innovation in their approach to teaching and learning and will be confident in developing inspiring materials, underpinned by research, to meet the needs of current and future industry demands. Applicants need to be confident in developing inspiring materials and activities to support an applied, experiential, and impactful learning journey.
The position enables an ambitious candidate to play an important role in shaping the future development of the Executive Business Centre’s role in supporting local business growth via our SME provision, as well as national and international industry impact through our high quality, effective and innovative approach to its curriculum design. student and industry engagement, the role will focus on delivering high-quality, impactful education in a variety of formats.
Candidates would enjoy working with diverse cohorts of students and challenging them to fulfil their potential.
The successful candidate will demonstrate emerging leadership in their subject area and a growing reputation and impact across EBC, Greenwich Business School, the University, and beyond. As we grow the team, we are open to a number of business and management specialists and would welcome a discussion on where your specialism may support EBCs future growth. We have a particular interest in individuals with a specialism in supply chain, operations, data analytics, change management, and strategy.
There are strong research teams within EBC which provide research that is of significance to businesses. The successful candidate would be part of a research group and expected to undertake RKE activities contributing to REF and KEF submissions. The successful candidate will receive support and mentoring to enhance their skills and overall standing in the RKE community.
