We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team in beautiful, sub-tropical, South-East China. The Institute of Creativity and Innovation (ICI) is a dual-degree institute founded by the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) and Xiamen University (XMU). We’re located on XMU’s Zhangzhou campus, which boasts a park-like atmosphere, with mountains to the West, Amoy Bay and Xiamen to the North, and the South China Sea to the south. It’s a short commute to beautiful beaches, or the city of Xiamen, the multicultural centre of South-East China.
We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual with a strong background in teaching and delivering creative education at the university level, including experience in curriculum development, assessment, quality assurance, and higher education in an international context. In addition, it is essential that you have experience leading the pedagogic development of academic staff, and possess in-depth knowledge of current professional, theoretical, and academic debates within the field of creative education pedagogy. Your ability to effectively communicate these concepts to various audiences and educational roles is crucial to success in this role.
Having a teaching qualification (PgCert,PgCAP,PGCE) is essential for this role and you will also be required to hold a minimum of D2 Fellowship from Advance HE (formerly FHEA).
