Data Insights & Business Support Assistant

Contract type: Fixed term contract to provide maternity cover until 28^th February 2025

Working pattern: Part-time (21 hours a week). Working pattern to be agreed

Location: Level 6 Student Union Building, University of Sheffield

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Data Insights & Business Support Team, based in the Student Administration & Academic Affairs.

Working with colleagues you will ensure that Freedom of Information and Subject Access Request data, collected and maintained by Student Support Services, is of the required quality to meet legal and statutory requirements.

You will lead on the coordination and delivery of communications to staff and students in line with the Student Administration Service Communications Strategy. You will also undertake the forecasting of communications and review and edit the content of communications.

In addition, you will provide Business Support across the department; ensuring key service requirements are met.

Reporting to the Data Insights & Business Support Manager, you will work independently, flexibly and collaboratively as part of an enthusiastic team and you will be able to adapt your skills to new circumstances.
