Academic Dean

As the Academic Dean, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our academic team towards excellence. Collaborating closely with department heads and key stakeholders, you'll provide leadership and oversight in academic affairs, ensuring compliance with standards and policies while fostering a culture of academic excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Cultivate positive relationships with our university partners and internal stakeholders. 
• Monitor and enhance academic standards, overseeing the development and implementation of academic programs. 
• Collaborate with student affairs to enhance student retention and success. 
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead efforts for accreditation reviews and responses to accrediting bodies. 
• Undertake teaching responsibilities as required. 

Essential Experience:

• Proven leadership experience in higher education, preferably within a private HE setting. 
• Strong track record of delivering a high-quality student experience. 
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Masters Level qualification in Business and Management or a related discipline. 
• Fellowship of Advance HE. 

Desirable Experience: 

• Senior leadership experience during periods of significant change.
• Progress towards a higher-level degree (doctorate) in a related field.
