Role available to part-time or full-time applicants

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support the work of our systems development team. Our central management information system (SPEAR) is used to cater for a wide range of business functions at the IGC but is principally centred around a grant and research project management application.

You will be working as part of a small in-house team to design and deliver new functionality from our development backlog. You will provide innovative and architecturally sound solutions to key business problems, while also delivering ongoing system maintenance and escalated support to end users. You will also provide technical leadership and mentoring within the team. We offer flexibility in terms of remote working options and are also open to both part-time and full-time applicants for the role. The IGC is based at the LSE campus in central London, and you may be asked to travel to the office for workshops and meetings from time to time, if working remotely. You will be reporting to the IGC’s Head of Systems, Data and Knowledge Management.

You should be an experienced Salesforce Developer, with prior experience of designing and implementing a mix of declarative and code-based solutions via the Salesforce platform. You will have demonstrable experience building and maintaining applications within the Salesforce ecosystem, a strong understanding of fundamental Salesforce architectural principles, and ideally hold multiple relevant Salesforce certifications.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
