We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and highly skilled individual with expert knowledge of open access and scholarly publishing to join our Open Research team in Libraries & Museums, University of St Andrews. The purpose of this role is to focus on advocacy and outreach for Open Access, managing specific elements of the infrastructure, staff and services which support the University’s culture of Open Research.
This is an exciting time to join Libraries & Museums as we further develop our open research culture which values sustainable and equitable open access. We are looking for someone to share our commitment to making our research findings widely available for local, national and global benefit. You will take forward a roadmap based on our institutional OA Policy based on rights retention, and be able to take initiative to further develop our OA services.
We are looking for someone with expert knowledge of scholarly publishing and the open research environment with excellent communications skills and the ability to solve problems taking an evidence based approach.
