SALARY & HOURS: £24,290 / Full-time (35 hours per week)

Job Purpose

This is a great opportunity to join the University of Buckingham in a pivotal role. The expanding Fundraising team is looking for an experienced team administrator to provide excellent service to the University alumni and donor communities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team to maximise donation revenue and fundraising and alumni engagement
  • Be the first point of contact for donor or alumni queries, and perform a key central coordination role for the team
  • Support with alumni and donor communications, including via social media
  • Provide overall administration and project/event support

Experience & Knowledge

  • Sound working knowledge of standard IT packages, CRM systems and/or databases
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment
  • Experience in standard financial management processes
  • Comfortable with using graphic design software, e.g., Canva, to create visuals for social media posts and to promote events
  • Experience in Higher Education a plus

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with attention to detail
  • Good team working skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Good time management with the ability to organise and prioritise
  • Comfortable in a fast-growing, complex environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive and organised
  • Able to contribute ideas to help shape informed decisions
  • A high degree of numeracy
  • Graphic design, photo and video editing skills desirable
