Research Fellow (Maternity Cover)

The Research Fellow will join the CBIG-SCREEN team (https://cbig-screen.eu) evaluating the cost-effectiveness of interventions to increase uptake of cervical cancer screening in vulnerable women across Europe.

Applicants should have a postgraduate degree, ideally a doctoral degree, in a related topic. Relevant experience of undertaking cost-effectiveness is essential. Previous experience in decision modelling in TreeAge or Excel is desirable. The postholder will have the opportunity to forge strong links with colleagues working on overlapping areas of interest through the LSHTM Global Health Economics Centre. 

The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and fixed-term until 26 February 2025. The post is funded by the EU Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme and is available from 27 May 2024. This is a maternity cover position starting at 9 months but may increase to 11.5 months.

The salary will be on the Academic Pathway scale, Grade 6 in the range £43,947 - £49,908 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
