We are offering positions in teaching practice-focused modules that support students in developing creative skills in digital media alongside understanding their practice in relation to theory and context. We value an innovative teaching approach, fostering experimentation and combining lectures and seminar discussions with creative workshops and tutorials that guide students in considering the theoretical and contextual relevance of their creative works.

All units are designed to help students develop their communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and innovation skills, while developing compassionate intelligence. We expect our students to become independent learners, applying these skills to areas such as creative computing, 3d design, interaction design, animation, sound, moving image, multi-media installation and other areas where they can push the boundaries of the digital media arts.

It is essential that you have at least 2 years' experience of teaching within Higher Education in a relevant subject area.  Ideally you will have a PhD in a relevant area or be able to convince us you have equivalent professional experience.

We are particularly interested in people who have experience of creating immersive and interactive projects.  We are interested in people who thrive on experimentation, who are skilled in using digital tools to support creativity in such fields as installation, sound art, ai art, moving image, virtual and lens based media as well as those who can explore the intersections where design and art meet. You may have experience in one our more of these disciplines: public art, community art, product design, exhibition and performing arts, fashion, fine art, AR/VR/MR, 3d modelling, sustainable practices, gaming, animation and/or interactive arts.

By joining ICI you will become part of our international community of designers, artists, architects and researchers involved in the visual arts, environmental design, visual communication design, and new media. Our educators are involved in pioneering projects and teaching methodologies which they apply through research and mentoring practices.

We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity within teaching and working environments.
