CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute is a collaboration between Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China and Keele University in the UK, and teaching commenced in September 2023. Two dual-award degree programmes of study are offered: a BSc in Public Health Management and a BSc in Rehabilitation and Exercise Therapy.
Programmes offered at CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute are officially approved and reviewed by the Chinese Ministry of Education. Students are recruited through the National College Entrance Examination system and are enrolled as full students at both the Chinese and the UK partner universities.
Module content often mirrors what is taught in the UK, with academic staff often using the same or very similar teaching resources. Teachers will also add their own take on the topic they are teaching to contextualise the content for our students in Chengdu.
