Sun Yat-sen University, founded by Dr. Sun Yat-sen and with an educational tradition spanning over 100 years, is a preeminent research, academic and cultural center and the premier location for talent development in South China. Sun Yat-sen University has developed into a modern comprehensive university that enjoys a reputation as a top-tier university nationally and a renowned university internationally. With five campuses in the three cities of Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Shenzhen, and ten affiliated hospitals, the university is becoming a world-class university and global center of learning.

Business School at Sun Yat-sen University was established in 2021, located in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone of China. It is the first school related to humanities and social sciences approved by Sun Yat-sen University on Shenzhen Campus. The school now has over 1,100 current students covering undergraduate, master’s and Ph.D. levels. The MBA program (Part-time) was initiated in 2022.

In September 2023, the School of Entrepreneurship at Sun Yat-sen University was unveiled at Shenzhen Campus. In May 2024, Research Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Technology Finance, Sun Yat-sen University, Shenzhen was established. They are both affiliated with Business School, accelerating the cultivation of young talents with the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurial ability, and making greater contributions to the high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
