The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the UAL Awarding Body Quality Assurance and Enhancement team as an administrator.
UAL Awarding Body, the Further Education awarding arm of UAL, has 70,000 students and over 300 approved centres worldwide. Specialising in the creative arts, we offer 60 qualifications ranging from entry level to level 4. The Quality Assurance and Enhancement team (QAE) provides expert advice and support relating to Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance for UAL Awarding Body.
As QAE Administrator, you'll be instrumental in shaping and implementing our quality assurance policies and processes. Working closely with our QAE team, you'll facilitate centre approvals, manage appeals, and lead the creation of a bespoke QAE Quality Newsletter for our centres. Additionally, you'll provide vital support to our management team in various administrative tasks, including travel arrangements and website content management.
About you
You will be an experienced administrator, ideally from within an awarding organisation or educational setting. Proficiency in MS Office and database management is essential, alongside exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
You will be highly organised and generally curious, and someone that seeks to identify potential problems and opportunities for improvement. You will have plenty of initiative and creativity with an eye for detail. You will also have a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy.
Quality assurance experience is desirable; however, training will be provided. We are looking for a candidate with an interest in creative arts education.
