Job Summary - Following the award of £5 million from Research England (UKRI) to deliver the Developing Business-Aware Academics project, the project team is looking for a graduate to join them as a Project Support Officer. You will provide efficient and effective day-to-day administrative and financial support to the project and all team members. This will allow you to gain valuable experience in administration, project coordination, and customer service working with a range of stakeholders. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership Scheme (GBP) and offers a full-time contract (36.5 hours per week) for 23 months. This role is based in Exeter on our Streatham campus with hybrid working from home, but some UK travel may also be required. About You – You should be a graduate who has skills in communication, event organisation, organisation and time management, and interpersonal. You should have the ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely and have a methodological approach with an aptitude for accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail. You should have a proactive, enthusiastic ‘can-do’ attitude and happy to act on your own initiative, be motivated to work effectively as part of a team and dedicated to delivering project objectives, be honest, reliable, with a commitment to confidentiality and delivering work with integrity, and be enthusiastic conscientious. You should have experience of working independently, under pressure and delivering work to deadline, of working in a team environment to deliver multiple objectives and support project aims, and of adapting to a changing environment and introducing new systems. You should have experience MS Office, virtual meeting software and a willingness to learn about a range of systems, of supporting meetings and of recording accurate notes, and of developing and maintaining social media platforms and web pages. You should also have a willingness to travel to partner organisations or support events within the UK.
