We are currently looking for a Research Assistant to provide research assistance on the ExtraCECi project, funded by MRC. This project is a cluster randomised controlled trial (RCT) of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) receiving care in community settings in Ghana.
The Role

You have the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from academics and researchers within the University of Ghana, King’s College London and University of York. This includes liaising with York Clinical Trails Unit, who will be providing trial management including statistical expertise and working closely with the University of Ghana who will be sharing anonymised data as well as providing health economics expertise.
You will be responsible for preparing ethics application documents, trial registration documents, statistical analysis, risk calculation with reference to PLWHA health insurance schemes, adhering to treatment and follow up, coordinating and reporting on project activities as well as scheduling regular project meetings with collaborators.
You will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) to plan, implement, evaluate, and report all project activities.
