Over the last five years ULMS has engaged in extensive recruitment of academic and professional services staff, expanding into a state-of-the-art extension adjacent to the Georgian quarter of Liverpool, including a trading room and a marketing suite. The School now has over 230 academic staff supported by 90 professional services colleagues. The Operations and Supply Chain Management Subject Group (OSCM), one of the six ULMS Subject Groups, is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in Digital Business & Data Analytics. Operations and supply chain-related research at ULMS has a broad scope and includes operations and supply chain design, operational research, logistics, procurement and a growing interest in digital business, data analytics and software engineering developments and applications to operations and supply chain design and management. Applications from those with relevant research experience, strong publication plans, and teaching interests in computational methods, programming and data analytics are of particular interest for this post.

You will have a relevant PhD (or be close to completion of a PhD) and have a developing track record of relevant top-level publications. You will be able to evidence future research plans demonstrating a capacity to sustain a high level of output and be expected to teach subjects related to the post at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The School seeks excellence in all aspects of student experience and looks for individuals with a passion for innovative pedagogies and the capacity to create and deliver new and highly contemporary modules.
