The School of Future Transport Engineering is recognised for high-quality and real-world teaching, state of the art activity-led facilities and an approach guided by and focused on industry. We are ranked in the top 10 of the Guardian University Guide 2023 for our courses in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Aerospace and Manufacturing.
The Role
As Teaching Fellow in Aviation Management, you will undertake teaching and course co-ordination, supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs ensuring students have an effective learning experience.
You will work closely with colleagues to enrich the student learning and teaching experience, ensuring relevant aspects of research, enterprise and professional context are embedded in modules and courses.

Qualifications Required
Our Successful Candidate
You will ideally have experience of successful teaching at HE levels 4-7 in Aviation, Transport or Tourism related disciplines with high standards of teaching, learning and student engagement.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience of airport operations or planning.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated, you will have experience of supporting, enhancing, and engaging in an ‘active learning’ pedagogy with evidence in proactively supporting student success.
Alternatively, you may have professional experience as an industry professional, manager or trainer and demonstrate the ability to develop the required competencies to deliver high quality teaching at HE levels 4-7.
